Реклама, стремящаяся вызвать у потребителя беспокойство или опасения, преодолеть которые он может, купив рекламируемый продукт или воспользовавшись предлагаемой услугой. Есть история про двух человек, которые переходили дорогу, и их сбил автомобиль. Вот лежат они в больничной палате, один вздыхает, говорит, что подождали бы они минут пять, и все бы обошлось. А другой смеется: «Да ладно, ты радуйся, что жив остался и отделался синяками и ушибами, а могли ведь погибнуть». Это называется разный взгляд на вещи. Та же штука и с рекламой: можно пугать наркоманов жуткими последствиями потребления героина, а можно говорить о пользе здорового образа жизни. Но это вовсе не значит, что «пугалки» неэффективны. Наверное, больше всего усилий в части запугивания человечества приложили производители средств личной гигиены. Именно они внушили мысль о том, что запах изо рта, перхоть, потные подмышки и наличие подозрительных пятен на женской одежде в критические дни неизбежны, если мы не будем пользоваться их продукцией. Вот так, жил себе homo sapiens, не тужил много-много лет, зато теперь эффективно сражается с природными явлениями организма с помощью разных средств гигиены тела. И все благодаря рекламе.
